Meet Evan!

My name is Evan Glynos I am from Danvers, Massachusetts. I plan on graduating in the spring of 2026 but do have a 5th year option which I could graduate in the spring of 2027. I am a criminology major with a minor in communications with the career goals of working in law enforcement after my time here at UNE. I chose UNE because of the opportunity I was given for athletics and the great academics. While attending UNE for education I am also a part of the university’s football team. Being able to compete on a college football team has taught me the importance of being able to have a great balance between school practices and social life. As a kid growing up playing college football has always been a dream and goal of mine, and being able to live out this dream has been the best experience. I have met some of my closest friends through this process.

My hope is that the reader of this handbook can use this information to help guide them in the right direction with their transition from high school to college. While many people struggle with the transition including myself, my fellow authors and I have created an incoming first year handbook. This handbook shows testimonies of seniors, juniors, sophomores, and school school support staff. This handbook also includes many resources on how to help you with your transition here at the University of New England.
